How, with all of the SWW errors we end up having, and the mid-match soft locks, has a Resume Match feature not been added in this game!?

There is no actual PvP. Every match of this game is played against the AI. A resume feature should absolutely be in here.

This would solve a lot of problems, if it was implemented correctly.  Have a top-level button in one of the corners that could try to close out any open cards or menus and prompt the AI to take its next move if it's their turn, and if it's unable to do so, mark the match as bugged and refrain from taking a charge away when it's closed.

Probably to make it harder to cheat. If you have a local savestate as a failsafe when you loose contact with server, there will be methods of altering that file to your advantage.

Matches are already run locally as far as I know. I've had no trouble going in and out of service during a match, as long as I had service for the end screen.

Be careful with that, sometimes there is a freeze where the app no longer registers your touches.  It happens after closing the "cannot connect" screen.  Cost me 2 matches last BoFT (I like to clear nodes on the subway after work)

A similar bug also happens if you tap out of the "card mastered" screen after a match, although its much less annoying there.

No, it needs to be connected. Try turning your connection off while playing.

Huh, I swear I've lost connection and had it keep going. Maybe it was for a short enough time that it was in-between checks? I could just be wrong of course.

It will give you an error screen when you lose connection.

Frequently happens when my kids are playing outside -- when I move closer to the house and wifi it comes back -- but it won't let you play without a signal.
