The X-Men VS 5DV!

This is an attempt to clear the air not create more drama, please if any comment is going to provoke more drama please create a new thread.

Form my point of few this feud is unnecessary it started with comments that where taken out of context and then escalated (not going to get into details or argue semantics). I made some comments yesterday that where out of character to close a thread I no longer wanted open. So for that I do apologize to Klingsor I assure it will not happen again.

As for The X-Men and 5DV I believe the feud pushes our people harder and give something to work for I do not want to lose that, I just want to clean up the trash talking and bashing. The top 3 is a thrilling and exciting race every time. No alliance has it easy, for that I have much respect for any player that put it all on the line, like The X-Men, S.H.I.E.L.D, 5DV, and all the other alliances/ people out there. I will talk to my crew and order a cease and desist on all trash talking if it's not positive or constructive they will be band from the alliance, I'd ask if you feel the same you would order the same. None the less I truly have no qualm with 5DV in any way shape or form, I wish the best of luck to them any any other alliances wishing to better themselves.

On a side note; I do want to talk about life at the top, it's not easy it's fun, thrilling, suspenseful, and consuming of time, energy and resources. It is not for everyone it takes a never give up, never quit, never back down attitude. Let's face it in war the goal is to win at all costs, now this ain't quite war it's a video game that's based of killing another person so you move up in standings to be number one or attempt to achieve that. So pushing yourself to a higher goal each time. Not all people have that attitude, some people do so that's why we do have the S.H.I.E.L.D's, 5DV's, and The X-Men always in the top 3. Some people feel isolated by the conglomerates, not able to contend for top place it's understandable. The truth is in most case's you have to do what it takes to be able to contend hats off to all those who try, I'd love to see more than just a top 3 race. People can say they just people swap, cheat, or use any other practice that is less than honorable, I can honestly say we try to keep a core that is built of 18 people that are true core X1 last 2 spots may have not found the right people (in the past), I believe we are solid now we have 2 new recruits that hopefully will work out well. Staying on topic all the top 10 alliances I know really bust their butt hard, and without the competition of 5D, and S.H.I.E.L.D The X-Men surely would not push so hard, with that said there is not all bad has come from this feud 5DV pulled together a solid core, and S.H.I.E.L.D got some competition. The truth is its not easy to build an alliance that can compete for number one so please stop judging those who are willing to do what it takes. I know I have my work cut out for me with 3 alliances I couldn't imagine 5, so hats off to Klingsor. When you a leader and have to make tough calls it's never easy, you do the best you can and you hope it was right and people stand behind you, not everyone will be happy. Heavy are the heads who bears a crown, I believe that's how the saying goes.


In closing I hope this sheds light on the subject of life at the top, and I really hope we all can put this behind us and move forward no need to waste time on the forums there are events to be won. GL to everyone out there, if anyone needs more details in starting a top alliance message me I'll help you..

I kind took three weeks off and it appears that in that time the game has changed, this place has changed, and the world has gone mad.

It's making for quite a funny read though. I just hope you lot are actually having fun. Sounds like you are all ensuring you have heart attacks by the time you are 40.

While i agree some people have taking this alliance thing and game WAY TOO SERIOUSLY, then that's up to them really. Its their life and they can do as they please. Starting flame wars over a match 3 game is kinda ridiculous though especially when it makes its way into every thread possible. As i said before, when this is all done with, its not like your gonna be telling your children's children about the day "i stole number 1 of SHIELD in pvp" they will send you to a crazy house. If the game stresses you out and causes you to have random outbursts of rage, well I'd hate to meet you down a dark alley. Or piss you off in real life. This is after all a game. Its supposed to be a chance to unwind and have fun and take away the stresses of "normal" life. Not give yourself a heart attack over.

But in saying all that, it is pretty funny to read

I cannot speak for anyone but myself when I say that I love this game and the many real life friendships that have come to be because of it. I love the community and being part of an awesome team who supports me no matter what. I despise negative behavior and as a personal rule...... Regardless of how tempting it is..... Never engage,respond or retaliate against those who attempt to degrade and cheapen the things in this life that bring me happiness. I truly avoid conflict at all costs. I admire and respect every alliance and am constantly in awe of how amazing S.H.I.E.L.D and 5DV constantly perform so well and are always classy and well-spoken . I wish for the bad blood to be gone and for us all to be friends and message each other one day soon. I seriously enjoy the team chat more then the game sometimes and I enjoy receiving new messages from people in other alliances daily.

But I'm only human. I am competetive to such a painfully high level in everything that I do I'm sure it will be my downfall eventually. I want to be the best in all that I do and I cannot stand to let my team down. As a competitive athlete in real life or competing in a match-3 game I want to win and take pride in all that I do. I also don't discuss my personal life on public forums but I have a job. A very dangerous one actually.I proudly protect and serve my city as a 6-year veteran of one of the nations finest law enforcement agency's risking my life every night without hesitation for my city.

So if playing this game in my precious free time brings me comfort and alleviates the stress and constant pressure from real life........ Then who can judge me for that? It makes me happy and keeps me out of trouble and if the game ever ends up feeling like a chore then I'm done, no question.

But until then....... I would love to end the feud and find peace among my competition. I won't respond to any negative comments so save your energy.

I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this. Lets all remember it is just a game but if it makes us happy and no ones getting hurt then let's keep doing it the right way and not get burnt out.

More power to you all if that's how you want to play the game. However, if the reports are true that the way you are always top 3 is by burning large piles of cash on HP & boosts, I am no longer impressed.

I never claimed to be a good guy. Far from it.
But this was not an apology or an admission of guilt. I've engaged in no bad behavior...... At least in this game anyways.
This was a simple statement, my personal view on what I hope future alliance conduct can become and a peace offering to all.
I have always kept messages of this nature private but due to recent circumstances I wanted people to know where I stand. And if I could remember the names of all 100 people in the 5DV alliances and all 20 members of shield I would gladly message all 120 of them individually. Along with the other thousands of alliance members I'm hoping to get this message across too. I have no enemies or rivalry with anyone here whatsoever, I never have.

I would gladly hand over money if they ever turned this forum into a movie, complete with bad lip-syncing, twerking and over-acting. Okay, maybe i wouldn't pay, but i would download a dodgy copy off the internet.

I don't take my Marvel Candy Crush too seriously, so I think I'll stick to competing for #4-10. Life's pretty stress free and peachey here at the bottom.

Yes I will. I am planning on taking him to 5/3/5 lvl 141 as soon as I receive the covers. All the iso and HP are banked and ready.
I also will be taking Fury to 5 purple and the soft cap as soon as we get him too. So you'll have some ability to extrapolate that ability to lvl 230 at that point.

Such a change of behaviour in just one day is surprising considering what has been said, but if the whole thing is sincere and not another way of manipulating people, chapeau bas as we say in French. (hats off)

Just want to add that I'm completely lost as to where all of this stems from. I was just at an out of state business meeting last week and on vacation through the weekend so couldn't compete at the same high level that I usually do and not one person gave me beef about it. In fact everyone was supportive. Point being, I'm not sure where all this mega high intensity, no time for real life stuff stems from. I spend some cash on the game... not a crazy amount, but I do spend on some health packs and the occasional boosts at the end when I'm pushing between 1200-1300 to get over that 1300 mark when you can only squeeze off two battles before retals come through... But not once have I seen anyone tell me I *needed* to. I do that on my own accord. At the end of the ragnarok event there was a big step up in intensity... And I mean we're talking about a brief hour, where only 5 or 6 of us were playing, as we tried to get in the top 2 ahead of 5DV, but that was it.

Just pointing out I've never seen anyone say anything to anyone about needing to step up their game or spending money or whatever. I'm sure just as 5DV does (correct me if I'm wrong), those that wish to play more casually are assigned to xmen2 or xmen3 to match their a style with like minded people.

At any rate, Johnny and Naz have been nothing but great. I wouldn't be a part of the the team if they weren't. No one is forcing me to stay. Like everyone else is saying, it's just a game game and this drama is just silly.

Anyways, just my 2 cents. I'm someone that tends to steer clear of drama and this team is pretty drama free amongst the ranks in my experience.

Best of luck to everyone, especially 5DV. I've had some brief dialogue with Klingsor and he seems pretty cool to me. And mad props to Beee, WYP, Reckless, davecazz, etc in SHIELD for giving me competition every event. Will I target members of either clan? Of course, as sure some of them target me as well. That's part of clawing your way to the top, but I've respect for them all.

All this madness around this lately is nowhere near indicative of how this team interacts.
