Traxos does not count himself as historic

I was trying a Traxos deck last night.  He appropriately becomes able to attack when other historic cards in my deck were cast.  However, for some reason he does not count casting himself as casting a historic card despite being legendary.  He should become able to attack when reinforce cast.
