Let's focus on game play improvements

1)Turn off animations
2)Coalition log in status
- when a coalition member last logged in for obvious reasons
- dead coalitions could be removed but keep the players account if no one logged in after 60 days...
3)Break away from paper magic
- create one card at least for a mechanic to make previous PW viable in new sets. Add energize 2 to a card, cycling (2) Why buy a cycling PW when they're out of standard?
- add PW customization. Start simple with equip items which you can get from booster packs( +15hp) This could create an interesting aspect to the game.
- release 5-10 card theme packs for special holidays. Tweak existing cards to give one activate gem that gains 3 life for valentines days.Just give the card a pink outline. They could be very creative with this.A way to make some money , but doesn't unbalance the game
4)Objectives always should be positive.
- take 20 or less damage is ok , but not take 40 or more damage. Add one more objective as a bonus if you use a certain PW. Win with Vraska , gain 500 runes and 50 crafting orbs. Promotes new PWs for purchase
-objectives should promote deck building like use cards that cost 12 or less mana
5) Ramp beginners to make it less of a grind to get into coalitions. The gain should be exponential , basic PW should become available more readily.

+1 to coalition log in status. Before I boot a member I want to know if their lack of points is from inactivity or struggling and need assistance (presuming they don't reply on the chat or any other means of communication).

There should be at least a monthly update for game play improvement whether its tweaking older events by sprinkling rune rewards around, improving the odd PW, stabilizing their server, making special events, inactive coalitions will be disbanded...and so on. Their lack of vision confounds me as this game has so much potential.1 -
The game really needs two toggles in the options menu:
1. Animations: On/Off
2. Spell cast confirmation: On/Off
To clarify on number 2, On would give all spells a cast confirmation box, Off would keep things how it is now. I hate, hate, hate, casting Dark Ritual to fill a card with mana that was already completely filled by a massive unexpected cascade. (First world problems)1 -
I like some of your ideas ,but don't know how much more pws could break away from their paper counterparts. Most of them, especially the new ones , are quite different. I would love to see them completely non parasitic. Meaning, it's cool if they make energy, but they shouldn't require energy . That makes them completely useless after rotation. Tezz2 is a good example of getting it ,mostly, right . Arlinn is a great example of how not to do it. It might be cool to do some sort of "masters" set with a selection of non offensive legacy cards that would become standard legal to encourage people not to shelf their pws after the keywords become obsolete .
I'm all for some toggle options to speed up gameplay. I'm sure some people don't really care about the animations (I don't, really), but in a slogfest like B4T, with all of it's triggers, I could do without the extra 10 minutes of animations in a round of charges . And with explore "combo" being a thing, stuff is getting a bit out of hand . And while we're at it , is roil ever going to get fixed? Was it supposed to say 4 tokens , or is it supposed to make 2? Seems like changing the text would be really easy. Just saying . It is the primary reason for all of this animation talk . Autocast should have a toggle. Or some normalization. Why does Day's undoing ask , but not behold the beyond. They're functionally similar. Why does cast out autocast on an empty board, but stay in your hand if you don't choose a target? There's a ton of these.2
