Hardware requirements and freezes

I read alot about people having issues with the game freezing. Both here and in my coalition.

Some of this can be traced to specific actions in the game (destroying a Hixus for instance, pulling up the objectives menu).

Since I haven't had a single freeze that I can remember, why does this affect some and not others?

Is the game to taxing on phones (and tablets for some I guess) so that players with older/lower spec gadgets have this?

I keep a tidy phone always, freeing up my memory, not having apps running in the background but my kids can have hundreds of open apps/tabs and have crashes/freezes often.

Is there anyone in the know of the technical aspects of the app who knows more how it strains the phone?

Though knowing the minimum requirements wolud be really interesting, I have a S7 edge and running (in latest official rom, not oreo yet) just the game, I got freezes in the game no crash.

Of course as much apps as you have running as much posibilities of getting crashes and freezes.

I’ve had freezes from game related issues.

I run the lasted iOS on my iPhone X, 265GB, on a 4G nw. Not a hardware problem here. I have PLENTY of space and also keep a tidy phone.

Ive had 2 freezes on this event, one on the previous event. All game related. At times I need to be more aware of what I do in the game as opposed to winning the game - like, what gems to match, what to look at, being patient, etc. It’s like handling a child. A very fragile one.

I believe the "hixus/enable" freeze is hardware/software dependent, but I don't think it is due to resource constraints. In my case I'm using a cheap lg x charge and I couldn't reproduce the bug in any form (cast out, supprossion bonds, cycling vizier, destroying support, etc).
If I were in the dev team I would try to get one of the bugged device and see what happens there in the situation described by the users

A lot of bugs are software related (the enable a diabled thing bug for sure is), but a good number of the crashes appear to be hardware.  For example, I haven't gotten a crash on checking objectives once since getting a new phone, nor have I lagged out in a long combo like I used to

I find this to be the case with many players who use Android -- older phones (including the one my alt is on) do not perform as well and experience more issues.

Perhaps it is not only hardware but also the Android version running on it.

It's definitely complicated. I have a mediocre phone (BLU R1 HD, 2GB RAM, 1.3ghz quad-core) and I've gotten very few freezes. As in ~10 in the over a year I've been playing this game. It does seem to get less stable if I leave it open in the background for too long, but that rarely happens because 2GB of RAM means it auto-closes to make space often. I've avoided switching apps in the middle of matches thus far (besides TG when it wouldn't matter).
