Unstable when updating event board [Investigating]

Pressed start in Return of the God-Pharaoh battle , a flicker occurred, then the wheel of death appeared. Had to close with no end in sight and saw Across Ixalan had been added to the event board. This has happened in the past when building a deck, or about to start a battle or the above mentioned. The game overrides what your doing to claim training grounds is finished or other changes . These sequence of events creates an instability in the game and at worst the wheel of death.

Had a SWW when I was loading a match and the game starting reconnecting to server. Then a pop-up exclaiming Fateful Showdown has ended came up. My match continued to load but got stuck with a black screen and spinning wheel saying Starting Match. Another event down the drain.
