Two events: Scaled Vs Non-Scaled

In the original events, months ago, there was no scaling. Certain nodes were just brutally hard, but they were worth a lot of points.
Today, there is all sorts of scaling. Where I face level 400 enemies, someone who entered a few minutes before me might get level 40 enemies. And they might get 1500 points for beating level 40 enemies, while I only get 100 points for beating level 400 enemies. That seems unfair to me.
The developers seem to think that some players like scaling .... so offer an alternative.
In an events opening match, offer players two alternatives:
1. Scaled -- "Our algorithms will try to find the right challenge for you."
2. Non-scaled -- "All challenges will be the same for all players."
Once players pick, they can't go to the other event.
I would pick the non-scaled event, even if it was loaded with level 400 enemies. Because I would know that everyone else was facing the same challenge as me.

The non scaled version would be dominated by guys with 141X3 rosters and I don't know if that's what D3 wants.
The hard missions in the scaled version still give more points relatively speaking. It's generally within the risk associated with each mission compared to yourself. I have no idea how the risk compares to other people since we know scaling is all over the place, but when compared to my set of levels for the enemies I find the level spread to be quite appropriate for the points involved.0 -

Think that you should be able to play both. Like the event that we recently had (I can't remember the name), where you had to play the opening node for "normal" to unlock it, and then the other node to unlock the "hard".
As someone who has not been around long enough to experience non-scaled events, I would like to run both simultaneously to get the feel the difference.0
