Support Idea: Honorary Membership Badges

I was thinking this morning as I was blasting through Honor Among Thieves with 5* Lord (boosted), Medusa, and 4ocket (not boosted), that it might be nice to be able to assign affiliations to characters via supports at some point. Maybe give Nico temporary membership to the Guardians, or let Flaptain/Sandman take the place of C4ge in the Heroes for Hire hobofist team up. Just some ways to create some synergy where there didn't used to be any.

Does this feel like a good idea?

    That seems like an interesting idea.  However, how would that rank up with level?  It seems like that would be super niche and be useful now while most aren't leveled, but be left in the dust by better ones over time that actually level.

    Not sure; maybe they do something else along the way, and that would just be the "synergy perk" that happens when you equip them to a champion character. Basically heroic versions of the Black Order supports that do a thing when equipped to champions. Or perhaps it could give you ALL memberships?
