Hadana's Climb + Scorpion's Sting [Investigating]

I think I'm having a interaction bug between these 2 cards/effects.
I was playing as a 20ish lvl Fiora, against a lvl 20ish Nicol Bolas.
I place Hadana's Climb, which buffs my 4/4 Harbinger of the Tides leaving it as a 6/6 creature. After that the opponent plays the Scorpion's King ability on my buffed creature leaving it as a 5/5 (or 4/4, can't remember). On the next round, Hadana's Climb tries to buff the same creature, because it thinks it's unbuffed, but because it already has that buff it stays as a 5/5. This effect then repeats every round, basically getting 'stuck' on buffing an already buffed creature. Because of this, Hadana's Climb won't buff my other creatures and never transforms.

I've had times where Hadana's Climb skipped a creature that I buffed outside of its own ability and, ultimately, the card never flips even when all of my creatures are buffed. If I get a chance to document it, I will post some scenarios.
