Rank 1 - When the supported character makes a Blue match, there's a 5% chance to gain 1 Blue AP extra.

    I can certainly think of characters who wouldn't benefit from this. Don't most countdown-related powers activate when their countdowns expire? I get that he's basically geared towards boosting Strange's blue (which you want to keep on the board as long as possible) but this makes him seem a little too specialised.

    There's a bunch of characters who could benefit from extending countdowns:
    1. Captain Marvel: produce more strike tiles, while still being able to fire the nuke with her yellow.
    2. Gamora: more damage from her red.
    3. Cloak and Dagger: longer duration for Darkness Hungers
    4. Starlord, reduce power costs for longer
    5. Spider-Woman: avoid damage for longer
    6. Mr Fantastic: keep Imaginaut out longer
    7. Cyclops: keep Uncanny Strategist out longer

    I agree that you'd have to be careful about team composition though, since it just specifies "friendly countdown tiles" rather than those belonging to the supported character.

    Is this the worst support?  All of the abilities, even at level 250, are either marginally useful, incredibly specific, or pretty useless.  Glad I don't have this one.

    There are indeed quite a few. In 5* land alone, you've got...

    Thanos purple <- no tile changing (useful against 50% Thor)
    Gambit black (nerfed version) <- gen purp and red AP.
    Archangel black <- no AP gain.
    Black Panther black <- extra damage against one target.
    Black Bolt yellow <- increasing powers by X levels.
