Is this a Discard issue? [Investigating]

A couple matches I've seen the opponent cast https://mtgpq.info/cards/DeadeyeTormentor. In the past, any time you discard I'm pretty sure it goes from the bottom of your hand, however this card picks a random card to discard instead. Cards that do that have specifically said 'discard a random card'. Is this card just ambiguous or should it be discarding from the bottom?

    Not to sure it doesn’t say the last card in hand or discard a random card

    In the past discard has always been from the end _unless_ the card text specifically says so.
    Some say "first and last", some say "random" but they always say.

    So, yes, I'd count this as a bug, the question is whether it's just a bug with the text and it should say "random" or a bug with the implementation and it should discard the last.

    The tooltip on discard also implies this is a bug.
