Man, with the Super Rag and Super Thor gone, I forget that Rags thunderclap doesn't do 1800 damage anymore, or that thors 6 AP attack doesn't hit for 2600.

Fights are taking more than 35 seconds, these 2 minute battles are throwing me off icon_e_smile.gif

I sure am, I was enjoying my Magneto (Classic) + Dr Doom + Daken/Wolverine team, crazy damage matching tiles and crazy damage with Doom's summons and Magneto's abilities, my team had no real tank but these glass cannons were fun, they still are but like you said it takes 2 minutes now
  • I've forgotten at least twice to be careful who goes to the front... leading to a Storm Tempest-a-thon that doesn't turn out well.
  • Frankly, no. I am quite happy with battles taking a bit longer and needing a bit more thought that watching stuff get insta gibbed lol icon_e_smile.gif
  • Ahahahaha wow I'm an idiot.

I've been pouring through the patch notes to see when they nerfed Thor. Forgot it was 200%+ in the tourney LOL

This more times than I can remember. I really wish all three characters were always visible as most of the time I do this is is I start a match but don't make my first move, get distracted by something else, come back and forget there was a Storm hiding in the back and attack then dead. lol.

Hell, even if I'm hitting one in the front, they trigger my storm, and then their counter-storm wipes out my whole team (except for thor)

There are only three important things to remember when fighting C. Storm:
    1) kill her first (or stun her).
    2) don't use your own C. Storm.
    3) remember you aren't using your own C. Storm.

If you remember those things it's easy!

Yes, but also realize that #2 makes you a very easy kill in tournaments where there's a low level freebie. That retaliation is likely to come quickly.

Not necessarily. Really depends on what you replace her with.

In the FFA tournament not running w/ C Storm was a viable strategy because there was no bait (unless you used your own... which just meant you had two really weak characters for retaliation). With this tournament, and so few people having a high level Grey Suit of their own, it's not a very good strategy -- yes, you have two weak characters. So does nearly everyone else. It's at least even. Better to have your own Storm, be careful with matches, and hope some people impale themselves while you try to avoid doing the same.

The only high point people I've seen w/o a C Storm are also running a L80+ Grey Suit, so they have some flexibility.
  • funny, i'm running thor/cstorm/level 60 g.widow, and i'm still getting hit like no other. nature of da beast.
