One of the hotfix changes was...

• All packs given from progression rewards are now RIX packs.

Yet the first progression pack was definitely Origins... @Brigby

Actually, the first is supposed to be Origins.  Are the others not RIx?

There are only two packs, one at 40 ribbons (ORI) and another at 750 (RIX). Both should be RIX based on Brigby's post in the 2.5 Hotfix thread.

I got the first rix and yes it was rix. Got a Zacama dupe for 750 orbs.

In total there will be 4 rix boster and one ori at full reward.

My mistake, I didn't notice they added a whole bunch of RIX packs. There's one at 140, 300, and 500. The 40 ribbons reward is still ORI though.

Hi Everyone. I've passed along this question to the team, specifically about the initial Origins pack, however it seems all the other booster packs are correctly rewarding Rivals of Ixalan.

The overall rewards are a lot better than the last run and they lowered the progression ceiling too.  As @IM_CARLOS eludes to a lot of the tiers are giving multiple prizes combined.

I'm pretty sure this event only had four packs in the full progression rewards before they changed it, now we get four RIX packs and an Origins pack. I'm fine with that, though I'd like 5 RIX packs even better.

I guess we can always ask for more. However, I think we need to give kudos to Oktagon. They listened to many of the ideas discussed and I feel made great changes. Several of them do not help me directly but the 5 max chargers charges was enough to make me pleased. And yes, getting RIX packs is great even if they will more than likely be dupes for me, there will be excitement if a gem starts to shake.

   The changes on this event are really nice. We now have 2 great, well designed coalition events with solid rewards on weekends. It's also great to see how oktagon cares about the feedback and reacts properly. With a bit of standard content during the week everything would be perfect actually.
   I think that the remaining origin booster isn't much of a problem as we now have 5 boosters instead of 4 on the previous version if I'm not confused.
