Hi Everyone,

We are aware of the issues players have been experiencing with the Oath of the Gatewatch event today. Players were encountering an issue on the first battle of the event, where it did not progress past the opponent's turn.

Due to the widespread occurrence of this bug, we have decided to cancel both the Oath of the Gatewatch: Part 1 and Part 2 events, and instead are running Fateful Showdown in its place. The Fateful Showdown originally scheduled for 4/24 will instead be replaced with Revolt Against the Consulate.

We apologize for the inconvenience, however thank you for your patience.

Want to gift us a few crystals? FS gives fewer which kinda sucks.

Why a single event (with the worst rewards) instead of 2? Would it be possible to get RATC instead of part 2 at least ?

To my knowledge, the only PvE events that have a 2-day duration are the pair of Oath of the Gatewatch events. Fateful Showdown is set up as a 4-day event, which means that it would've conflicted with Oath of the Gatewatch: Part 2, if we had left Part 2 scheduled.

Revolt Against the Consulate is also a 4-day event, which means that it would've conflicted with Battle of Four Tribe, if it was the substitution for Part 2.

@ Brigby - First of all, thanks for the answer
I get your point, theorically ... However as the legacy pve events don't involve refreshing nodes and aren't too time-consuming it's probably not a big issue if they are running during another event.          Most players will have achieved FS long before it ends anyway.
Maybe its technically imposible to run 2 pve events at the same time though ...

I can complete FS in about 20 minutes. Running it for days on end helps no one.

@Brigby The "Jori En" encounter was bugged too the same way. It was kind of a thrill to succeed in the event despite the bugs, it was hard, but possible (thanks to HUF/Deploy). Of course not everyone has those cards.

Another thing though: While I was able to finish the event despite the short time it was running, others, who were trying, haven't. Some got caught with the substituting of the event mid-game. In future, it would be so very much better to give us a warning up front what your actions will be: "Hey guys, this is the bug, we know about it, we are going to replace the event tonight at 6pm. Best through ingame feed. This way, people would know what to except and could adapt accordingly (try to finish before, or have the chance to finish in the first place).

Yea, I was at 41/45 ribbons for the 30 crystal progression and beat the final fight for 6 ribbons only to find something went wrong and never got the 30 crystals. Kind of annoying but I probably still got more crystals out of the event than most people did. Wouldn't have wasted my time had I known the event was going to be taken down.
