Jubilee Heart of the Team not doing extra damage

My one cover Jubilee fighting Lockjaw in Shield training fight 1.
She starts higher in health, we trade match damage. Lockjaw summon Kamala and heals. But my match damage remained the same, with no indication that Heart of the Team was firing. Is this power not taking the temporary healing into account?
Anyone else able to repeat this?
