Creatures Exiled, But Settle the Wreckage Remains [Investigating]

Has anyone come across a bugged state with Settle the Wreckage? Coalition member mentioned coming across it over the weekend, and I experienced it once as well. Basically, your creatures are exiled but the support remains. I think it has something to do with tokens, but I wasn't sure exactly what was happening and rebuked the field before I could explore it further.

I can confirm this bug, but not sure the exact cause.0

I just had it happen. No starfield on the board. it sucks.0

It's if the opponent summons a non-hasted creature while Settle the Wreckage is on the field. It has summoning sickness and can't attack so Settle will exile the ones that do attack and remain. It will exile the other creature when it attacks the next turn. If the opponent summons another creature that turn, Settle will remain yet again.0

Yep, what Brakkis said. If you play a creature into Settle, Settle won't go away. This can go on for multiple turns. It's a brutal design flaw - but a great one to use in your favor. Also, it's more important now than ever to pack good support hate. There are so many great ones running around.0

I wonder if that means combining it with Dowsing Dagger or a similar tactic would make it so only support removal or matching could get rid of Settle? That's a much nastier bug if so.

Be that as it may, just the fact that it can come back - a lot - with Starfield makes nearly any other bug/unintended interaction much less pervasive.

I think I figured out the cause of this bug. From what I've seen Settle the Wreckage only gives the ability to destroy it to your opponent's last creature. If their last creature doesn't attack for some reason (summoning sickness is the one I've seen, but a zero power creature would probably do the same thing) Settle the Wreckage won't get destroyed.
