jungleborn pioneer not triggering hazoret's favour [Investigating]

is jungleborn pioneer the card itself considered as a non
token creature? I had hazoret's favour out and was
expecting +2/0 and haste on the 2/2 creature. instead
both 2/2 creature and 1/1 token didn't get any buffs.
also when I swapped it in my kiora deck I started getting
failed fetches(ability 2). it would fetch and use my loyalty
but no additional creature was present in my hand.

Sounds like the issues people are having with Polyraptor. If they figure out how to fix that card, the same fix would probably work here too.
