Admiral's Order not working [Solved]

Attacked for many turns in a row, cast the spell (which had the little golden "activate" circle around it in hand), but it did not drain the opponent's first card of mana. Had no effect. Cards seemed to gain mana correctly, though.

Happened several times across multiple games.

Ah, are you suggesting it doesn't mean "a card they can cast", but "a spell, but not a support or creature"?

You're probably right. That's what I get for starting in paper, I don't always remember that all cards don't count as spells.

That spell distinction gets me every time here in PQ. 

This card fooled me, too. I thought it was busted at first until I realized.
