Order of dupes an non-dupes in packs

Recently I've noticed the following behaviour when opening packs:

1. If the pack contains any non-duplicate cards, they will be displayed first.
2. Once I reach a duplicate card in a pack, all subsequent cards in that pack will be duplicates.

Can someone confirm that?

If it's really so, that actually spoils the fun for me. Getting a duplicate and knowing that all remaining cards will be such makes all my excitement and hope go away for the rest of the pull.

=> Please shuffle the cards in packs so that I can hope for a non-dupe at any point.

One more thing:
I also don't like the behaviour that dupes are converted into runes already before I actually see what kind of cards I pulled. Example:

1. I have 100 runes.
2. I open a booster pack of five cards.
3. I haven't yet seen the cards, but my rune balance already changes to 170
4. I already know I'll have duplicates worth 70 runes in the pack.
5. The first card I pull is a dupe uncommon, worth 20 runes. At that point I already know I'll get another dupe uncommon and 3 dupe commons. Excitement gone.

I noticed the same thing. For the runes counter, if you are going to get a non duplicate, the counter is not updated. Bad indicator for a free booster ! But sometimes, you don't have the time to the math, especially if your counter is in the ten-thousands.

I'd rather have the non-duplicates at the end of the boosters, to finish on a high and pleasant note.

What I've noticed, and I'm really good at this happening, is that when I get 2 copies of a card that I didn't have in the same pack, it counts the first as a dupe and the second as new.

And what he said^^^ don't look at the runes when you're opening packs. That's like getting mad at the internet because you read a star wars spoiler .

I've actually made a point to cover the runes with my thumb when opening a pack so I don't get pre-disappointed lol.

I've had both dupe come first and new come first.

This made me laugh out loud -- my dog looked at me like I'm a weirdo -- since I discovered this, pack opening just hasn't been the same. Now I know how to prevent the disappointment.
