Huatli's First ability storm

So Huatli's first ability storms like crazy... I am playing a green ramp-combo deck that keeps matching green gems, and it seems that with each gem, the animations keep getting longer and longer... As if the process is cumulative... not sure if it's only an animation thing or actually incrementally keeps adding loyalty. It also persists between turns (so it's not a one-turn thing).
Nevertheless it's bugged and makes matches last an eternity.
Please look into this.
