I liked it, although I did not reach full progression.. It was great as a motivation. For me, max progression could also reach until 10k to make it absolutely impossible to achieve, maybe with a spike at 800 and then decreasing values.

Adjusting secondaries back to 5 points each would help reach the 1000 mark. Not saying it would be easier, but it would help a lot.

I loved the event overall, just that 1000 progression is hard, I actually support the plan of keeping it but making the reward the Immortal Sun, then _everyone_ can work towards over weeks and slowly get better and better even if their collection is bad.
That's _exactly_ what the game needs, long term impulse to improve, it does NOT need competition for top spot, it has enough of that, it needs better _personal_ drivers
and switching some of the good rewards to "hard progression" and making the coalition ones more boring, that'd be fine. (The top people will still end up getting both, it changes nothing for them, but it changes the whole feel for everyone below.)

Azor's gateway is the only thing with a problem... Most people beat it through speed but some of us used control too, I beat it in 46 turns...
I like that both were possible, but _either_ was prone to randomness.

I'm conflicted about token supports and creatures counting for city blessing... It makes it too easy, but removing them makes it too _hard_ to get.

I would like some way to keep the fight so you can go either the speed or control routes, but the randomness needs to be reduced slightly... Upping the loyalty cost is one thing, but can't rewind the control of city blessing once you've lost it, which is part of the point, it just makes balance hard.
