River’s Rebuke & Disabling Supports

I just cast River’s Rebuke, returning Desert’s Hold to my opponent’s hand, but my first creature remained disabled. There were no other disabling effects in play or that had been used by my opponent.

    Did your opponent happen to be Ajani Vengeant? 

    Or your opponent cast Imaginary Threats? Or something?
