@Brigby when part of waterveil triggers, the animation for all 6 tokens shows, we moved from after the 2nd token they wont be shown anymore to showing all of them again, was this feature reset during the last update? Can this be added on to the new update? Really slows down the game a lot when all animations are being shown instead of just 2. Thanks.

This is every token stack, not just those two.

Could be related to TotP also just having 2 charges now. This was fixed but they came back right after ixalan was released. Hope these get fixed during the new update.

it doesn't show each token after 8, it just went from 2 to 8. I agree it should be put back to 2

My guess is that it has to do with there being gameplay triggers that activate on reinforcing from Ixalan which cause reinforcements to no longer be considered consecutive events in the game code. So that probably breaks the condition to skip the animation.

Also they had to change stacking if for no other reason than to put the icon on even those non-vampire reinforcements.

It'll help the player count their presence on the board for the upcoming Ascend mechanic too. Better to future proof such stuff than change it every time.

There isn't any effect that puts more than 8 tokens at once.

It's nice that you can count the reinforcements but not at the price of having to sit through a bazillion token summoning animations.

Hour of Eternity can put more than 8 at once.

Though regardless, I agree that it really slows down the game entirely too much to have to tap through every token in a pile entering play. I almost wonder if they could resurrect the code that showed how many of a card you got when opening packs to show how many tokens are entering and just doing one buff.

Like for Saheeli you’d see the Thopter token come up on screen with a x4 on top of it

Well, it could if it worked… Liliana, the Last Hope's ultimate puts out 4 tokens at once (at max level) and could get quite annoying with any sort of repeated triggering (Some Disassembly Required for instance).

Looks like this is fixed. When I resolved Hour of Eternity earlier, it only gave me 2 token animations for a 13-token resolution.

I guess partially fixed? Hangarback went through every token animation
