Will there be an Event with new PW?

Just as the title says, will there be specific events requiring the new PW (Hautli, Vraska, Jace), like HoD with bolas, etc? 

I ask this because Hautli seems really really weak. I don't forsee any real changes that would be made to her that would redefine her. And thus, I do not want to purchase Hautli if there is not going to be a special event with her. 

P.S. looking for a definitive answer, as the whole "time constraint" portion of the Rivals of Ixalan Preview had me slightly concerned.

    I want to know the answer to this question too because, unless there are events featuring the new ixalan planeswalkers, and after the experience I had with Huatli, I don't think I'll buy them

    Nice to meet you Lunairetic!  I don't know how many planeswalkers you have but I've heard Huatli is one of the worst (if not the worst) planeswalker to date, so I'm hoping it'll get better.

    I've heard the new Jace is mediocre, but Vraska seems to be pretty good at least! No other Planeswalker in this game has B/G and just that combo of kill spells and mana gain is pretty good. I don't have her yet though, so I can't say for sure.

    In the past, we had the same event renamed for each set with the featured PW, Inventor's Fair, Breaking Point, Trial of Strength and Hour of Devastation -- they were all announced in the release notes.  My Oracle powers are saying no on this one. But until we hear from D3 there's no telling. I hope not, but for the record Vrsaksa is probably one of the most balanced PW ever built in this game and she deserves your attention whether or not she's required.

    Nice to meet you too, Findingheart. I have most of the planeswalkers (aj1, nahiri) but I got this mythic white ETB dinosaur and I decided to buy Huatli since she seems to be built around dinosaurs  I thought she'd be fun, boy was I wrong!

    I think I've been here long enough to be allowed to randomly tag Brigby without repercussion.

    Hi Everyone. I'm afraid as of this moment, I don't have any information regarding future events that feature the new Ixalan Planeswalkers.

    Huati is at least usefull with huf-deploy 5 support means 2 spell (huf, deploy) and just 3 creatures. Same like aj1 but useless skills and  a little bit more explosive mana gain if you can hit red or white matches.

    But nahiri or aj1 fits for this job even better. 

    Dinosaurs were dead on arrival, and huatli with all her mediocre loyalty burner will be one of the worst pw and i have them. all. 

    J3 got his moment and you can build unique winner decks around him. 

    Vraska is okay. Unique color comb but lame skills and mana gain. You can build decks around but J3 is more interesting to me.

    If no more specific events are coming, I wouldn't buy every pw, unless there is a shiny point (nice deck idea; winner condition). So it's a matter of cashflow for D3 I think.

    @IM_CARLOS. What cool things have you done w J3?  I liked J2 but am unsure if I will even buy 3 w crystals.

    TSN + Tutelage + insidious will, some bounce, some card draw, rebuke for board wipe.

    Slow but solid.

    It's not a real winner deck but from all 3 new pw he is more solid then the rest.

    And if insidious is gone just take another bounce. 

    If you can manage to rebuke from time to time and get out his ultimate you can make everthing unblockable, draw a lot of cards and make the game slow with turtlage.

    Nothing that can beat N3 cycle, but fresh and interesting to play.
