Where: Training GroundsPlaneswalker: Sorin MarkovCards in Question: “Argul’s Blood Fast //Temple of Aclazotz”; “Crested Sunmare Token”
While playing I was in a situation where sacrificing my stack of tokens made by crested sunmare would have kept me alive and likely won. However, when i triggered the temple to sacrifice my last creature I did not destroy the horse tokens and gain my double life. I lost shortly after, but it seems the temple sacrifice uses the old damage trigger instead of kill trigger as the “indestructible” horses couldn’t be sacrificed. Kill in this game has always worked to destroy those things so this was a surprise, especially as it was a sacrifice effect.
