Does it ever make sense to spend 720 CP on a 5* cover?

I have a 5/5/2 5* Hawkeye and a blue cover on the vine (thanks Kate Bishop) that expires in 5 days.  I’m wondering whether it makes any sense to drop 720 CP for that last red cover. 

Roster notes:
- 6 champed 5*s (Gambit, Thor, DD, Thanos, BP, JG). My BB is 5/3/1 and Strange is 5/0/4. (Who cares about the rest.)
- Well developed 4* roster, all but a handful champed and many near lvl 300. 

I’m averaging 30+ CP per day and at least one LT. I have about 80 LT and 1500 CP and will only pull tokens to get one of latest 5* when released, and otherwise plan to hoard until a good set of 5*s come up (waiting for the next meta). I’ve got about 400k ISO and no iso demands right now. 

If I don’t spend, I don’t see how I’ll ever get that last red cover in the lifetime of this game. (My KB is only level 285 and HE’s red cover for H4H won’t come around for a very long time.) Given my CP stream, I think I will have a large enough hoard to cover up whatever 3 5*s roll in once Archangel and Ghost Rider leave. 

I’m sure the answer is that 720 CP is not worth it, but interested in hearing others’ thoughts.

    Set Kate as Bonus Hero, you'll get that red cover when you open your hoard.
    No, it's not worth to spend 720 CP on Hawkeye, not in the Age Of Gambit.

    What Bow said. Hawkeye is fun, but he is by no means essential. With the red cover up next from Kate's champion rewards, you are in a pretty good place to champ him anyway.
    If you happen to have a surplus of HP/Roster slots, you could always roster the blue cover as a dupe. If Hawkeye is ever redesigned, you might be able to sell it off for a better price then. If you need to axe the cover, it sells for 2000 ISO from the roster too... just don't level the dupe.

    Thanks. The red cover from Kate comes at level 320, and she’s at 287 for me now. That’s a looooong ways off.

    It goes faster than you think once you stop hoarding and open as you go.

    I assumed you passed 300 already since that is the level that drops a blue Hawkeye cover...
    Heck, set Hawkguy as a favorite too since he also gives out Kate covers...

    Shoot, error in my OP. I have a purple cover on the vine. (KB is only level 285. ) In any case, thanks for all of your input. I think I will save my CP.
