@Brigby

To help us decide wether to buy her (when she's'in the vault) does the creature steal ability of the admiral work like Lay Claim (still works when you have 3 creatures, you replace one) or like exert influence (works when you have 2 creatures, but doesn't when you have 3)

Her card text doesnt help since in other cards the text isnt consistent.

Thanks!

    @andrewvanmarle I'm not a developer, so please take this with a grain of salt, however I would side more with the Lay Claim mechanic, since Exert Influence's description specifically says if you control 2 or less creatures.

    Having said that though, I'll pass this inquiry along to the developers, and update this post once I hear back from them.

    @andrewvanmarle I have confirmed with the developers that Admiral Beckett Brass's "gain control" mechanic does in fact function like the card, Lay Claim.

    What happens if you decide you don't want the stolen creature? Does it get destroyed like what happens with Lay Claim?

    I'd hope so that would make her better

    With Lay Claim you can steal a card even if you have 3 creatures.  If you want to keep it you choose which creature to replace if you don’t it’s destroyed.

    If it destroys the creature ... And it is obviously so (cf lay claim) ... It makes her ridiculously powerful ...

    I cant get why some mythics should be able to steal or destroy a creature (at least) on each turn while some other are just useless ****.

    Does the word balance still mean anything around here?
