Game becomes unresponsive when pausing

Issue:  Sometimes when you pause the game, especially during animations of mana / spell casting / fighting, the pause screen will become unresponsive.  User is then unable to continue with the current game, only recourse is to force-quit and relaunch, losing all progress in that game and greatly impacting your tournament scores.  Not infinitely repeatable but it has happened to me three times since the last patch, I've only played ~12 games, and it never happened before.

Steps to Duplicate:
  • Start a new game
  • Play a few rounds
  • When opponent turn is being executed, pause the game
  • (x) Try to continue
Hardware:  iPad Pro 9.7" w iOS 11.2.5
Client Version:  2.4.0.21158

    I’ve had this lockup too. Cost me a charge in the big event.

    I ran across a similar bug, where the menu got stuck mid-animation at half size. The close button was also shrunk and closer to the middle of the screen, but still pressable. If this happens to you again (or someone else who sees this) you could try clicking repeatedly where the close X is, and continue while moving towards the middle of the screen. If it's related to the bug I ran across it might just work.
