Reinforcing: Animation slow

Not sure, if this is a bug or as intended to be now, but the animations of reinforcing cards have been slowed down again. Before the update a token would be reinforced twice, but every further reinforcement would be done in a manner that I would not have to interact (tap) on the card in order to speed up the process. Now, for a 6/6 token, I need to tap the screen six times to avoid the slow animation. Is there any reason that this has been changed? The game felt a lot smoother before.
