Swords to Plowshares gives incorrect amount of life

Options
When Swords to Plowshares removes a creature from the game, it should give that creatures controller life equal to its current power. It is giving life equal to its base power. Example: I give Solemn Recruit +4/+4 with Nahiris ability, my opponent casts Swords to Plowshares on Solemn Recruit and I gain 3 life. I should gain 7 life.

Agreed, it's behaving more like Hour of Glory in terms of the life change, but it's not how the card is worded. This may be part of the ongoing struggle with consistent card wording/templating. However, being an "Epic" card, I'd expect that Swords to Plowshares to have a more dramatic effect/functionality.

    Hour of Glory

Target creature is Exiled. That creature’s controller takes X damage, where X is equal to that creature’s base Power.

    Swords to Plowshares

Exile target creature. It’s controller gains life equal to that creature’s power.

Ya Swords to Plowshares doesn't say base power.
