Late changes in ixalan

I have bought a bunch of packs from ixalan set to see those famous cards and i noticed important changes among the mana costs anounced on the forum. The general cost of cards is way less shocking than i expected it.

    There appear to be a number of differences from the card gallery that is still up.

    I pulled Dowsing knife and I sure hope it's cost is a typo...  2 for arguably one of the best support in the set.

    Pulled it too, its probably the best converter in the set, considering its cost, the flip conditions and the fact its colorless ...

    Just from my first two packs here are some of the changes I found:

    Costly Plunder (C) from 12 to 4!
    Deadeye Plunderers (U) from 19 to 17
    Deathless Ancient (U) from 19 to 16
    Demystify (C) from 9 to 3!
    Drover of the Mighty (U) from 12 to 11
    Duskborne Skymarcher (U) from 8 to 7
    Field of Ruin (C) from 13 to 6!
    Otepec Huntmaster (U) from 11 to 8 (and its card text is also the hover text now)
    Pirate's Cutlass (C) from 20 to 14
    Raging Swordtooth (U) from 18 to 17
    Rowdy Crew (R) from 19 to 15
    Walk the Plank (U) from 10 to 8
    Wildgrowth Walker (R) from 15 to 12

    Those are significant changes that seem really strange not to mention before release, especially considering the tumultuous discussions here in the last couple of days. But, hey, it's good!

    I'm starting to suspect they didn't have the final art ready when they made the gallery or used an earlier version.  Consider the discrepancies in hover text.  All the final cards do use the hover text where it disagreed with the art.  Hover text didn't contain the costs.

    I have noticed based on my pulls that there are a number of cards with different mana costs than the initially posted values. A number of the cards are a few mana to a lot of mana cheaper. It has made some of the cards that I wasn't sure if they would be playable or not very playable and good. Have any of you also noticed this?

    Hi Everyone. We apologize for the confusion, as you are correct that there are some differences between the details seen in-game versus the details seen in the card gallery. We are working with the development team right now to update the card gallery with the current statistics and details of cards in-game.

    Too bad they didnt adjust all the cards that needed it though, there are still mythics that should be uncommons or rares and vice versa.
