Champ Professor X or keep Winfinite

I have 2 PX covers on the vine.  It seems like I don't resort to Winfinite much anymore, but I hesitate to champ him.  Is there a 5* that works well to replace Switch?  I have ~16 champed 4*, 1200 day player.  Top 5* is a 6-cover OML.

Grow past winfinite. Champ Prof X. It's time to move on to the 4-star tier and leave your childhood trappings behind (except IM40, you can bring him).

Yup, 2nd ^^.  When I was in the transition to 4* I started making a 2nd Prox X so that I would always have one low enough to winifinite.  Even during boosted week I hardly use him.  I break out Charlie's Angels once in a while just for kicks and to see a disembodied head staring at me, but really he's of no use non-champed once you're entrenched in 4*.  Champed he does have his uses as there a lot of the new character designs center around special tiles.  When champed you're better off having Big Head down to 3 covers since his real synergy is getting special tiles out for others and becoming invisible so he can buff tiles.

Phoenix can easily make match-5's with her purple, but it's not self feeding. Riri Williams is worth checking out too, with her it doesn't matter what level Prof is as her strongest color is blue too.

I know it's off-topic, but Riri/Prof X is quite entertaining and while not winfinite can be pretty close. Riri blue will often cause cascades firing off ProfX, generating more blue along with the red. If it hits right matches go VERY quick, and even if not, Riri protects the professor except for purple.

America's boost week is next week, I'll have to try that trio now that I have her champed, although think red will be the strongest color which works too.

Interesting, never thought of that.  What about Riri + Prof X + Nightcrawler (Nightcrawler would have to be highest level so purple is highest damage match)?

I don't have Nightcrawler champed, but that could work. You wouldn't even care what color gets BAMF'ed. I have 12 covers now, so I'll have to try that in Sim next season. 

I'm always looking for ways to spam Prof X; it makes the game seem more puzzly

Just to follow up, I'm having a blast with a boosted PX champ.  Thanks for the good advice!

On the alternate Winfinite question:  Before the nerf, I had a 0/1/1 5* Gambit that was wonderful.

Have you looked at the new 4* Black Panther, sheesh looks like another friend for Prof X, pumping out special tiles and fortifying them... then close out the trio with either Nico, Iron Fist, or Luke... should be fun...
