Who's best to give some ISO to at this point?

Here's where I'm at:

Punisher: currently 4/4/4 and 85. Can level to 128. Not sure of final setup, but think 5/3/5 once I have the covers.

Psylocke: currently 2/4/5 and 90. Can level to 115. Plan for her is 5/3/5 most likely, again, depending on covers.

Panther: 3/2/5 and 60. Can level to 102 presently.

LThor: 0/4/4 and 80. Obviously lacking red covers, but can at least raise to 89. Not sure of the benefit in doing so though until I have red.

There are others I can level some, mainly 2*'s though. CStorm(75), MagsMN(65), Ares(65), etc. But considering I already have 3 maxed 85's, and HT stuck at 115 until I get a black cover, thought I would focus some attention to one of the 3*'s for a bit.

I'm mainly leaning with one of the 3 P's right now...Punisher/Psylocke/Panther. Curious on thoughts though...

Consider buying your last PunPun cover and putting him to 141.

I usually think of Punisher as a PvE character and Panther as a PvP character. I don't know if that's valid, but it's how I think of them. Not sure if you have a favorite event type or not. Psylocke's black is on par with Punisher's black (lots of debate on that in the character forum, but it's very close to equitable), but I think I prefer Punisher's green to Psylocke's red. Plus Punisher's red >>> Psylocke's blue.

So I think I would level her last of the 3 you mentioned. The only reason mine is up to 92 is b/c I needed her for the heroic event a few weeks back (where she was probably the most usable of the 3* options).

so, your saying I should go ahead and max ones like cStorm, MagsMN, ARES, etc? Instead of Punisher or the other P's?

Best performance you could get would be from Punisher. I would seek to get him to 3/5/5, his green at 5 is better than black at 5. The difference you will see between them is the AE damage on black will stay the same, but take one more turn to create strike tiles and the strike tiles will be a bit weaker. 5 green however will give you 3 strike tiles that are powerful as hell, that also have the added benefit of making your black hit harder. I would buy one more green for punisher and get him to 141 ASAP. He is a beast and will be like nothing you have experienced up till now. He blows 85s out of the water and is incredibly diverse.

lol...yeah, weird how it worked out that way. The 3 P's, unfortunate they share so many colors. Agreed that Psy's blue is meh, her red is ok and Black is her strongest. BP is a bit tanky, strong black, but also the negative of giving AP, which didn't help much in the Hunt, for instance.

I think out of the three, Punisher wins, though, BP is close. And yeah, Psy was my first 3 star in I think the Brotherhood event. Her buffed is nice.

Great points, hadn't thought of 5 green over 5 black. Definitely sounds like a plan. Thanks for the info...

His LT would only be level 90, which isn't worth leveling just yet. I think it's a pretty obvious Punisher. You have the most covers for him, and he's an all-star in both PvE/PvP. Punisher fits into more teams than Psylocke due to having 3 relevant abilities, and BP is a one-trick pony in that only his black is useful, and that can be a problem when the AoE damage doesn't outright kill the team like in high level PvE. I was 100% dead wrong on what I said before. Psylocke is one of the 3 available heroes for the Osborn Heroic. And neither PunPun or BP are available. So if you really want Lazy Daken (complete with a third ability), it might not be a bad idea to dump some ISO into her now.

I don't think moving Psylocke from 90 to 115 is going to make much of a difference for his success in the PvE.

But moving BP from 60 to 102 will make a big difference in PvP/Shield tourney.

I feel like making one of these threads now. I have Patch at 89 (3/2/4), IM40 at 141, and Psylocke at 92 (4/1/4). I'm sorely tempted to buy Psylocke a cover to get her to ~115. Will it help much? Not sure. I suppose it depends on how hard scaling kicks me in the face this time around.

Daveomite, how does your Patch and IM40 look? Think you'll need some extra punch for this heroic?

everyone seems to be pumping everything into thor nowadays.

thoridow is the new thorvarine, nerf a character then release a version of the character that made the prenerf version look weak.

Unfortunately, I have only managed to get ONE cover for Patch, yellow. That's all I have for him. And I do NOT have IM40 yet either. Again, I'm really only on day 76 or 77... so haven't been so lucky yet with pulls from Heroics at times. At least not for characters like cMags, Patch, IM40, etc.

I find Psylocke to be pretty good at higher levels, like in the PVE, she's boosted to to 120, and she's really 90. So her black does close to 1k damage and creates a pretty nice strike tile. But, not sure if I leveled her any more if it would really help, but possibly. Maybe getting her to at least 100-115 would help though in the long run for this. This PvE does make me consider finishing to level MagsMN to 85 from 65, and maybe giving Cap some too, even though I never use him. I have Cap fully covered, but only have him up to 21.
