PVP points system

I apologize if this has already been asked in previous posts, but what determines how many points each PVP fight is worth? I run a team of level 85 two star characters and often am attacked by people running 141 three star teams. When I'm attacked I always lose 30-35 points against these superior teams but when I go to retaliate the fights are only worth 9-15 points. I don't get how this is calculated. How is a player with a far superior roster hitting me for 30+ points without giving me the opportunity to gain them back? Not that I could defeat them anyway, but hoping one of the vets could shed some light on how the system works. Ive seen a couple of posts about MMR but not sure I fully understand how it works. Thanks.

  • It's all determined by your point total in that given event at the time of attack.

If someone attacks you (doesn't matter what their roster is) and they have LESS points than you, they will GAIN more points for their win.

The reverse is true also. If you attack someone that has less points, then you will then receive less points for that win.

So, you always want to attack people with more points than you and NEVER retaliate against someone that has less points than you (unless you think you could score a defensive win against them).

25 points is the 'break even' number of an attack. So, you always want to try to attack people for more than that. It's not always possible, especially as you reach the top of the rankings.
