Possible New Feature: Statistics for Training Ground
- number of creatures destroyed
- number of spells cast
- number of supports cast
- number of damages taken
and maybe other stats that would help us create decks for event and their objectives.

I would like (longer term goal, maybe) to see Training Ground have expanded options that really make it a "training ground". Like the ability to pick objectives from recent and/or recurring events, to test how well your deck can meet them. And maybe the ability to pick certain Planeswalkers for the opponent.
Or, to be really ambitious, the ability to play against decks that came in the top 5 or top 10 in recent PVP events, even if only for the last week's worth of events. I don't imagine it would take much storage space in a database to retain that information - they could even anonymize the decks so you wouldn't know exactly what players they belonged to.5 -
Statistics seems for me to be easy to add to Training Ground as the raw data are already in the Battle Log which is complete but too heavy, so not that clear to have a general picture. And it suits to any kind of training purpose we may have.
On the contrary, since players like to brag a lot here, at least from time to time, or in subtle ways, players of the week can be featured in Training Ground or in a special Event. Boosting the ego can add some fun to this game.
The players of the week can be selected by the total number of points from 1 or 2 events of the week, Standard and Legacy.1 -
Wow. The ideas in this thread are fantastic. I love all of what's been said so far.

I'd love a training ground where you could get the 4 tiers of reward with each color of planeswalker, similar to rewards for clearing story mode. Rather than only getting rewards for 4 matches.0

Rasalghul said:I was wondering if Training Ground can provide a quantitative summary of a battle :
- number of creatures destroyed
- number of spells cast
- number of supports cast
- number of damages taken

Number of castings in each category.
Number of destroyed cards in each category
Number of draws and discards
Amounts of damage taken and dealt
Amount of damage prevented
Amount of life gained
Number of turns
Amount of mana and loyalty gathered
Number of supports generated
Number of tokens generated
Number of times a loyalty was used in each category.
MVC [Most Valuable Creature] : Ascertained by damage dealt and/or battlefield time and/or destruction/discards of spells, supports and creatures and/or ability activation via its interaction in-game.
Best academic guess of a list that I think would be useful info for players in TG for tweaking their decks if needed or to confirm effectiveness.
