They need to add a monthly $5.00 thing you can buy, where it will double your rewards in events for 1 month.

That should cost way more than five bucks.

I don't understand why anyone would WANT to make this a blatantly pay-to-win game.
Then again I can't understand why anyone would spend a significant amount of money on a game anyway, so maybe I'm the wrong person to comment here.

    But seriously, don't do this

You want that VIP pass? Then at least pay 100 bucks for it

Are you saying it is not pay to win right now?

What gives you the impression that it is pay to win now?

Of course it is not pay to win right now.  The only thing you can buy is new planeswalkers (1 month before they are available for in game currency), select mythics (some of which are extremely powerful, many of which are not), and currency (to get more dupes).  Now with crafting the dupes aren't as bad, but you can win just fine without spending any money.

I've played pay-to-win games, where it was literally impossible to win fights or advance in events without spending money (equivalent here being if you could not pull mythics out of regular packs, but had to use real money on a mythic pack).  Sure spending money gives an advantage, but you can be a top player without it.

The main thing is that, in this, money just gives you more options but it's NOT automatically power, you can get the powerful stuff for free, sure it needs luck but it can happen.

With money you have way more tools you can choose between, but you still need to play, you need luck and your brain.
Someone who has spent a lot but can't think will do worse than someone who has spent nothing but uses their brain.

It’s not p2w, but it is pay to win sooner.  If you pay you can abuse powerful PWs and cards before everyone else.

Sorry but that's still not p2w... sooner or other wise. Pay to have more fun maybe. You can do fine in the events and even top the leaderboards without ever sending any money.

the pay to craft more cards was players chance to
make their rewards stretch further. that was a one
    off I think.
