Gods' last act cards not punishing enough

The cycle of cards that depict the last acts of the Amonkhet gods don't seem like they have a hard enough trade off. The cards include: Hazoret's Undying Fury, Oketra's Last Mercy, Kefnet's Last Word, Bontu's Last Reckoning, and Rhonas's Last Stand.

The paper versions of the cards make it so you lose your lands untapping in your next turn making them a trade off of high power for a stumbling block after using them. Losing the mana from all the cards in your hand doesn't seem like that big a deal when you consider that it can be easily sidestepped by having this be the only charged card in your hand.

I would suggest if the cards are looked at for rebalancing, remove the "drain all mana from cards in your hand" clause and replace it with "you can't have extra swaps this turn. Your opponent gets an extra swap in their next turn" This would be more in line with the idea that you've lost your mana on your next turn after playing the spell by, effectively, giving your opponent twice the mana opportunities on their next turn.

Or something like "lose all mana and convert all gems from your color to another"

Making a conversion like that, though would drain your mana then give you cascades. Though maybe it could be convert all gems of the spell’s color to void gems if you’re going that route.

I would like to see the mechanic act "The cards in your hand are locked and cant be cast next turn", and this mechanic used for one or two of the blue counterspells too.
You could combine things like draining mana, or locking cards, or moving a card to the end of your hand and preventing it from being moved for a turn, things like that.

I would like the idea if most of those cards weren't as bad as they are now. Of course hazoreth fury is amazing and would require a strong counterpart and oketra mercy can be considered powerful too.... On the other hand i honestly think Bontu, Rhonas and Kefnet spells would hardly find a place in a deck even without such a counterpart.

I would not nerf cards only for flavor issues.

HUF probably need a nerf for other issues.

Kefnet's Last Word is pretty good if you don't have Exert Influence, since its half the cost of Lay Claim and doesn't have the restriction of Welcome to the Fold.  Bontu and Rhonas I don't have so I can't vouch for, but from what I've seen in events Rhonas' isn't that bad.

Well, for Rhonas in green you can find creatures nearly equivalent for the same price and no counterpart ( 6/5 instead of 7/6 if I remember well). It's true that Kefnet is cheap for a creature steal but the lay claim has the interest of being available with 2 creatures on board, which makes it more interesting in my point of view. I'm not saying they are useless cards but I think an higher compensation isn't justified...at least for those 2. Concerning Bontu,it's quite powerful but black offers other cheap ways to destroy creatures without the sacrifice of yours. But... That's just a point of view
