Option to down-level a character

I've gotten into this annoying situation where my favorite character to play has leveled so high that she attracts all the damage in a match, so I can't play her any more.  It would be great if there were an option to decrease the character's level---ideally, just for a match, but I'd even settle for being able to throw a few levels away just in order to be able to put that character back in play.  As it is, my work increasing her level has turned out to be negative progress, which doesn't seem right.

Not really possible unfortunately. Best option for you is probably to level up other characters and even out the playing field a bit.
