    That is absolutely ridiculous.
Who cares if cards ruin the meta of the game because they are fun? Because it lets you beat players who have worked hard for bigger collections and you don't want to have to put that much effort in?
Because it's ok if you can win easily but not if the AI can?

I also never once said i disagreed that omni was over powered. I disagree it should be nerfed because it hurts your feelings to lose if we aren't going to nerf auto win cards that are far more prevalent in the game just because Greg can't play them.

@khurram I'm not calling for a nerf of cycling because the AI does not use it unfairly. If it were to start cycling it'd be an autolose so then I'd speak up.

The "cycle for the win" strategy produces a glut of players with max scores in competitive events, which negatively impact a player who would like to participate but don't want tedious gameplay like cycle combo deck.

But yeah if Greg could cycle it may never have passed testing.

To be honest, I'm sharing points of view around here but I don't care that much about any card being nerfed. I think they might be because they lower the interest, the balance and the strategy in this game, but I don't think they will be and that's fine by me.
This has nothing to do with my collection neither, Im doing pretty well actually, or at least good enough for my feelings.
I must also remind you that Omni being a MP, it isn't craftable so technically, having it is just a matter of luck and has nothing to do with investment or effort.
I could also add that some of the players that did express themselves around here are veteran players, and I don't think their collection or investment has anything to do with their opinion about the impact of some cards like Omni on the meta.

Anyway, it's your choice to think all of this is about winning or loosing games... But it's not the way I see it.
If it was about a 100% win, a good old cycle deck can be superior to any omniscience deck but... What's the point of playing a boring deck just because you could face another boring deck...?

    Exactly.

So it's not about game balance at all. Players i see in this thread are actually quite content with blatant brokenness existing in the game as long as they are not on the receiving end of it.

That's obvious, some players are quite content with the blatant brokenness of the game... The ones who consider playing  Omniloop, swarm loop or HUF broken combos are of course part of them, and the ones who only play cycling decks for easy wins are part of them too.
Some other players consider the game should be harder and more challenging thanks to a smarter IA, and balanced cards that would allow the largest variety of deck to remain competitive.

What gives you the impression that I don't want the game to be more challenging and balanced..

People don't get to target a specific mechanic or card while at same time defend another broken mechanic and cards because one is readily available for them to use and the other is not, and still claim that it's all because they want a "balanced" game.

They are targeting a specific card which they might never get. I am all for balancing cards, but not just one. There are cards that need to be toned down. And then there are also cards that are completely useless and need to be toned up a little. 1445 cards in the game and what percentage of them never see play?

I never said you didn't want a balanced game... I wouldn't dare trying to guess your feelings about it, I'm no soothsayer so I stick to what I read.

You were talking about players that take advantage of the brokenness of the game and enjoy it... Well playing obviously OP cards is a way to do it, as clearly as playing full cycle decks is a way to do it too.

I can't speak for anyone else, but along this thread I pointed at different cards, Omni being the one of them that started this thread it was more likely to be pointed at as a starting point.   More Generally,  I consider any OP card or mechanic is a threat to the game balance.

I do not own omniscience (and I don't care as I wouldn't play it even if I had it) but I own swarm, deploy and HUF and consider they should be nerfed because as they are they only lead to abusive combos. I don't use them because It ain't fun wining without playing (nor loosing without playing... Which was the starting point of this thread).
I never had NP until booster crafting so I couldn't abuse of the mechanic but I made my way to the higher brackets I could using other strategies when It wasn't for precise secundaries. I don't like to play cycling but if it can help other players with slighter collections to make their way to better rewards I'm definitely not against it.

So far I've been hit with an Omniloop once. I was playing with my  lvl 60 Ob, I had the Ult out, it was so beautiful I almost cried.
