Hi Everyone. Could all Platinum players please try to match against an opponent? In addition, could any Gold players please match with an opponent, to see if they are no longer matching against much higher level Platinum players?

    Thanks!

Are you encountering an issue with the loading screen, or when trying to find an opponent? Those are two different issues, and the developers only added a fix for the latter one.

So nop has been fixed without any sort of in game or in forum announcement. Which means whoever got to it first will most likely win just by luck of recharge times. A little bit tinnykitty even for this game I would have to say

It's working again. Thanks. I know it is not easy to understand because many people worked hard to fix the issue, however there's a bittersweet taste to this fix since it breaks player equal chances on the event. It's past midnight here in Europe, tomorrow I've got to go to work, and I won't be able to play all night. So I'll end up at the end of the leaderboard for this one. So you guys worked hard and we player are still disappointed. Sounds like we're spoiled children, I know, but that's the way it is :/. So thank you for fixing the crash, I hope you'll also fix the rewards inequality to fully close the case.

Thank you for the fix, but without the announcement.  many people have missed it and there's no equal recharge time now.  It would have been best to just let this event end without the fix.

Hi Everyone. Apologies for the inconvenience. We were so worried about this matchmaking issue preventing players from participating in the event, that we overlooked what the outcome would be of fixing this bug so suddenly without notice.

Should an issue like this unfortunately occur again in the future, we'll be sure to keep this outcome in mind; deciding if we want to apply a fix during an active event or hold off until it's next being run.

I am among those who did very poorly since I found out late, had very little time and ended up in the bottom tier with 250 runes.  Is there any plan to compensate those who were affected?

@Brigby i think if you can fix it before the full charge AND widely announcement is done, then It would be good.  but if the event only have 15 or less hours left, then it's probably better you wait for the next event.

    Thank you.

It seems this would have been a great use for the inbox -- also cheers to D3 and Oktagon for using that tool more often recently in cases of bugs and fixes!
