Comm link disrupted

I have recently reinstalled the game on a new phone and tablet after not playing for more than a year. I have reconnected with my facebook login but once I get into the game after 30 seconds it goes to the comm link disrupted screen and won't let me play. I know my connection is fine as my housemate uses our wifi to play and my 4g on my phone is above average. Is this a common issue? I'm really upset that I can't play at all. I've even tried at other locations with other wifi connections. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times on both devices. Is there a fix for this?
