How long do tokens from expired events last?

I have some recruit tokens from The Simulator and I'm assuming I'm getting some after it just ended. I don't want to use them yet since I don't have any space on my roster.

How long can I leave them there? Will they ever go away? Anybody here have any tokens from other events still with them?

I know that they don't convert into Heroic tokens anymore, so I was just wondering if I could hold onto them for an indefinite amount of time.
