Bouncing tokens to library

Lashweed Lurker is one of my favourite Eldrazi to use for Eldrazi objectives, but why can't it ever seem to target tokens? Cards like Unsummon have no problem sending them to the player's hand (technically) so it should be the same for bouncing to library. I haven't tested it but I assume Roil Spout has the same issue.

    I’ve tested roil spout and it does have the same issue

     Lashweed Lurker was deliberated changed by the former developer Hibernum to be unable to target tokens anymore, probably in the name of balancing the cards powers. It used to be able to.

    I am not sure if Roil Sprout was similarly nerfed or it has always since its inception unable to target token critters.

    a while back now, conditional bounce(ie bounce to hand
    when opponent has 5 cards or fewer) was left as is to be
    able to target tokens as well. unconditional bounce was
    changed so that they could no longer bounce tokens.
    this might have been done to give more rock/scissor/paper
    variation.

    Why don't they update the card to say "non-token creatures" then?
