    As I expected it to be, the original price was a special run for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. There shouldn't be any surprise that the cost would go up after it was advertised as a special sale.

    Anyone who was going to buy the package for cash would have done so already.  All they are doing is re-asserting what they feel is the "regular" price for the package.

    It was announced as a special price, and they had even said the regular price at the time. You can't complain, you knew it was a limited offer :)

    Except for the people who couldn't afford it at the time, but I agree with the second part of your statement

    I bought both copies and must say, I really like the $50 version better!  There is just something appealing about having a luxury Nicol Bolas...

    I would have paid $10 more for a foil. I like shiny things. 

    Also $50 US for a tricolor is still a steal.

    Funny that you should choose the word “steal.”

    I will just save my gold crystals, gathered 15 at a time, and buy him when he releases for those.

    Yeah, that is some hard core anchoring to call $50 a steal.  I thought $40 was a rip off but decided I like the game enough to do my part to infuse the developers with some much needed cash flow after a few months of no content.

    That's what I just thought, too. That's more expensive than entire normal games, in particular ones that aren't brand new. But apparently 'incredibly overprized' is the new 'a steal'. ;)

    $50 us equates to $75.00 NZD. that is just mind boggling.

    I love this game but sorry D3 I do not love it that much.

    Lower your price point and people will spend spend spend.

    I might have bought him if the price was lower or he wasn't bundled with cards I already own.  Not paying a premium for a duplicate cards.
    As is, I've already saved up plenty of crystals to buy him with that when he shows up anyway.

    i believe it's good players are willing to drop $40 to $50 for an early access to Bolas. it is what keep the game alive for the rest of us f2p players.
