The hilarious 'AI'

There was me, with my mighty Koth giving someone's Saheeli some pain, surviving with my last 3 or 4 hp after a very rough battle. I play my super Avaricious Dragon thinking 'Ok Saheeli, now you gonna see your end coming...'

Saheeli transforms my Dragon into a blue squishy frog... Damn! Ffs... She's nearly done too, but for some reason I haven't got a single direct damage spell to smash her to the ground in a while...
Ok, i can still do this...

Next thing she does... steals my squishy frog with 'Lay Claim'... I palmface, and next thing i see is that frog getting pumped by some support i couldnt even see cause my eyes were blinded by frustration and... somehow tearing in laugh...

R.I.P. my mighty Koth... We'll see better times soon, we will take revenge!

Just needed to share it with you guys, cause even frustrating, to me it was hilarious.

Feel free to share your experiences ^^

I remember a day Greg cascaded into casting his full hand. He started casting a creature then casted a buff on it and as a final act casted reclaim on it with a empty hand.

    Greg is always surprising.

Greg will only cast spells if he doesn’t have any creatures to cast.  So if he uses Reclaim, he’s probably doing something stupid.

this is why I don't use reclaim in a competitive deck lol

Embalmed token of Angel of Sanctions kills itself if summoned by the AI and your side is empty.

At the beginning of the turn Greg had hazorets favor on the board 3 cards in hand, no creatures. I'm at 82, gonna kill Greg on my next turn. Then Greg cascades, casts 3 cards and I'm dead. Greg is a slippery one.

The tin-foil hat theory is that Greg is smarter than we give him credit, we’ve just trained him to do stupid things by jumping through hoops to meet counter-intuitive secondary goals. I’ve killed my own creatures to stall for time before.

Here's a good one to demonstrate how Greg doesn't order his cards well........

Greg casts Flood Waters.......Then follows with Ambuscade.....deals 0 damage.

i believe Greg only re-orders based on card type (critter/support/spell) and card rarity. since both flood n ambuscade are of the same type and rarity, Greg just cast in the order they are drawn.

He always casts creatures first, I believe he casts supports next, and spells last.  @Ohboy did an experiment on this recently so he could confirm this

Yes the order is creature/support/spell. I remember it being really easy to steal REx before it had been released with gonti in the PVE event then. Never got a creature, I did this many many times so I'm certain it's correct ^^

Well as far as I could tell, it was supports before spells, unless it's a duplicate card. Duplicates get placed on bottom of his hand.

additional copies of creatures still take priority over
    supports/spells?

That I'm not sure. This was tested on bolas on rotgp, who famously has exactly one creature in his deck.

yes it does. ai always prioritise critters over supports/spells. which is why fat critters in an ai deck can either be a non-challenge (25 mana 6/6 vanillia uncommon pig) or an absolute terror (20 mana mythic decimator pig)

Actually evidence suggests duplicates might end up at the bottom.

I've seen several times a Decimator at bottom of ai hand getting charged from another creature dying.

but then sometimes ai reinforcing creatures after
which there are uncharged cards in it's hand?
