Looking ahead to Dominaria

Spring of next year MtG is scheduled to launch Dominaria as its next paper set, and new art has been shown for planeswalkers.

Looks like we have Narset and Jaya Ballard to look forward to!

Narset was white-blue on her last planeswalker card, which will be nice to have another option for, especially one unattached to energize and overload. Her creature card was red/white/blue so there's a possibility of getting her in three colors as well.

Jaya has not yet had a planeswalker card, but was mono-red on her creature card. We can expect her to act similar to Chandra in many ways.

Jaya Ballard: A Chandra2 mana gains paired with Chandra1's abilities? Would be nice to have an updated direct damage pw. Then again, it may be completely broken...hmm...

It was shown at Pax Unplugged a couple days ago, here's what I found from trying to google them all:

Some of that is a little out dated as the artist for Narset has confirmed separately that this is indeed

Maybe she was just resting or stunned.

It's.... complicated. I was forwarded a pretty long article about it last night, but it's speculated at the moment that she went into hiding after fighting Heliud, of the Order of Heliud that later hunted down Chandra, on Theros. She now, according to this theory, has been going by Luti and living on Regatha, where she now is leading the monastery at Keral Keep. Which, interestingly, is where Chandra studied pyromancy.
