I only see an option to add level. Is there a trick to this?

    If you mean you want to roster another one before your current one is max-champed, look at the cover in your queue. There's a teeeeensy little star icon hidden in the corner. That's how you roster a 2nd copy.

    That's what I did for my Deadpool video
    need a lvl 1 & 2 whale skill to record all his whales.

    took so long to finish due to:
    rare covers & accidentally upg the champ Deadpool

    this also means I wasted two covers after selling the dupe.
