The computing load is minimized and is useful for the players. Nah. Calculating something like 'color most present' isn't (or shouldn't be) computationally heavy. And even then, you' would only need to do it when it's relevant (i.e., when it's your turn).
Indeed, checking 64 tiles is a non-issue. Or has anyone ever noticed a slowdown between using the power and the tiles being changed? Running the animation for the skill is several orders of magnitude more computationally expensive.
And you don't even need to run it every turn, just do it when you open the power description.
