    I would imagine it's not a bug. Call The Storm for both versions deals larger damage to the target, then smaller damage to the rest of the team, so it's not an all around AoE, like Embiggened Bash, for instance. It's more like target + AoE. If I'd have to guess, if Nightcrawler wasn't the target he'd probably teleport away to avoid the smaller AoE damage.

    Yeah that sounds right to me. Call the Storm is like a hybrid targetted/team damage power.

    @Brigby any news on some help on Kurt's Purple power in-match description? Seems like there should have been enough time by now. Even the Lockjaw solution (6 totally different descriptions based on what the most common color is) would seem to work, and not be that hard to implement.

    And another corner case for him!  Nightcrawler is in front when the enemy team uses Sand Blast.  The stun part of the ability hits him before he goes airborne, and he takes the damage.  Working as intended?

    He was the only person left on the team thanks to a couple of Mindless Ones AoE showing up in the two lower corners of the board, which went off and took out the rest of the team.  He was the only one it would have hit anyway.

    Yes, powers that stun do so before (generally) the targeted character's passives go off. See: Jab Jab Cross vs Hulk or any powers that stun vs Doctor Strange for only two other examples.

    It's in there now as of the most recent update; if you select BAMF! it tells you what the most common color on the board is.

    Good job, devs.  That is a big help.

    Red at 4 covers: Deals 17595 damage. If you have 12 or more AP in strongest colour, 32081 damage
    Red at 5 covers: Deals 21345 damage. If you have 10 or more AP in strongest colour, 34275 damage

    Blue at 3 covers: Deals 3312 damage for each AP in enemy's strongest colour, steals 2 of that AP
    Blue at 4 covers: Deals 3552 damage for each AP in enemy's strongest colour, steals 3 of that AP

    PURPLE: 7 AP (no change in cost)
    Level 3: Deals 2243 damage, converts 6 tiles
    Level 4: Deals 2476 damage, converts 7 tiles
    Level 5: Deals 2691 damage, converts 8 tiles

    RED: 9 AP (no change in cost)
    Level 3: Deals 20670 damage. If you have 12 or more AP in strongest colour, 31006 damage
    Level 4: Deals 22393 damage. If you have 10 or more AP in strongest colour, 33589 damage
    Level 5: Deals 28766 damage. If you have 12 or more AP in strongest colour, 43149 damage

    BLUE: 6 AP (down from 12 AP)
    Level 3: Deals 2083 damage for each AP in enemy's strongest colour, steals 2 of that AP
