Recent art and pedestals

Do the current artists have a thing for characters posing on things?
Are their models action figures that have little stands? 
Ideas?

Actually, there is also Spider-Gwen and 4-star Rocket and Groot. And Iceman, kinda. If you include characters with one foot on some random items or raised geography, you also have Thanos, Drax, 5-star Captain America and Gambit.

And, well, 4* R&G kind of need something to stand on if they're going to be visible at all with the way the game obscures the bottom half of the character pics most of the time

Well, interestingly, while 4-star R&G got a platform to stand on so that they are "raised" to the height level of other characters, other short characters including Howard and Lockjaw get invisible floors instead and they kinda "float" above the ground level of other characters in their character select art.

Yeah I spend way too long analysing these sort of things.

Lockjaw isn't short. If anything, he's scaled down to fit.

Yeah, I didn't mean his actual in-universe height, I meant his height in the character select portrait. The distance from where his feet rest up to the top of his head is much smaller than most characters.

I'm all for dramatic poses, it's definitely better than just using the same model and changing some clothes/colours... I'm looking at you Star-Lord!

If anyone should have had a pedestal for their pose, it should have been Cyclops at least...
